Fire and Water I by Eolhin Fire and Water I by Eolhin
Fire and Water, two primal elements colliding.

This is a fractal flame rendered in Apophysis 2.09 , finished in PhotoShop. From this, you can see why they are called flames.

The colours are just beautiful, and striking against the black background.

Thank you. :) And yes, I prefer a black background for fractals. I need to get more of them done, and put up. Just one distraction after another.

Thank you for all the comments, and sorry it took me so long to respond.

Don't rush yourself unless you really want to ;)

You're most welcome. And don't worry - it took me much longer time to comment on them!

Well, they are all things I really want to get done, I just don't have time for everything. *wry smile*

Yeah, I get way behind here too, both looking at things by the people I watch, and answering things.

Once I got a job, time became my most precious possession - and all too rare. ^^;

Very true. The need to pay the bills is a terrible interruption to art. *wry chuckle*

My problem is that when I don't have a firmly set schedule, I don't create anyway. Paradoxically, the lack of spare time makes me spend the little I have more wisely.

I'd be screwed if I were immortal. :laughing:

Heh, not really, as you would still have to pay the bills, get food, etc, so being immortal doesn't mean that you wouldn't have a set schedule. For me, productivity varies greatly with the amount of pain that I am in. I often take pictures, even when I am in pain, the problem is, I don't get them edited or posted unless I am up to it, and have time, both at once. *wry laugh* I have literally thousands and thousands of good photos, worth posting, that I haven't ever gotten around to. *sighs and shakes head*
