The red-tinged black of the alpaca-lips approaches and… darn, it's cute.
A digital photograph I took of an alpaca from Alpacas of Anza Valley. Her name is Midnight Elegance ("Elle"). She produces fiber of a wonderful dark-chocolate-black. This photograph is one that I am intending to be part of a calendar of alpacas that I am preparing.
Alpacas are related to lamas, but are smaller and have softer wool, and are usually raised for the fiber that they produce. They are also cute, and generally sweet tempered, with funny cuddly faces.
