This is a digital photograph of a Pipevine Swallowtail Butterfly (Battus philenor). It is a bit the worse for wear though, and the swallowtail part is missing. A viewer corrected me on the identification of this one. I had originally identified it as a Spicebush Swallowtail, going by the little booklet that the butterfly garden handed out, which in this case, was incorrect. (This is a different picture from Pipevine Swallowtail I, though similar, but I couldn’t decide which one I liked more, so I am posting this one as well.)
