A spell cast, light rising like incense smoke

A digital photograph. No manipulations, other then slight filtering to remove grain and a bit of cropping. The hand is mine. Yes, it is in soft focus. I was experimenting to see if that would make the sharpness of the light more dramatic. The effect is photographic though, not digital.
