Above the world,
Beyond the skies,
Casting light where darkness lies.

Dance among stars
Embrace each world
Flowing winds of light unfurled

Glowing fiercely
Hearts formed of flame
Intensely bright, never tame

Jarring chaos
Kindles star mass
Lovely filaments of gas

Massive stars die
Novas will cast
Out matter in a fierce blast

Planets may form
Quenched molten rock
Recoil from collision shock

Strange skies look on
To harsh to breathe
Under nebulas that seethe

Vast void vortex
Warping space-time
X-ray sources shine sublime

Yes, despite all of our scars
Zen we are, the stuff of stars
This is a poem I wrote for a Premium Members contest here at DA ( [link] ).
It requires a space theme, and that each line start with the next letter of the alphabet, A, B, C, ... etc. I hope you enjoy what I came up with.
